{"id":4816,"date":"2025-01-13T14:18:54","date_gmt":"2025-01-13T14:18:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/bluelightnews.com\/category\/politics\/trumps-inauguration-schedule-is-out\/"},"modified":"2025-01-13T14:18:54","modified_gmt":"2025-01-13T14:18:54","slug":"trumps-inauguration-schedule-is-out","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/bluelightnews.com\/category\/politics\/trumps-inauguration-schedule-is-out\/","title":{"rendered":"Trump&#8217;s Inauguration schedule is out"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<p>With one week until Inauguration Day, President-elect Donald Trump\u2019s inaugural committee has announced the schedule, which includes a MAGA victory rally, three inaugural balls and a firework celebration.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPresident Trump is dedicated to uniting the country through the strength, security, and opportunity of his America First agenda,\u201d committee co-chairs Steve Witkoff and Kelly Loeffler said in a press release. \u201cThe 2025 inaugural celebrations will reflect President-elect Trump\u2019s historic return to the White House and the American people\u2019s decisive vote to Make America Great Again.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><b>Saturday, Jan. 18\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<p>On Saturday, a president&#8217;s reception and fireworks display will take place at Trump National Golf Club in Virginia, as well as a Cabinet reception and vice president\u2019s dinner.<\/p>\n<p><b>Sunday, Jan. 19<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Sunday, Jan. 19, will include a wreath laying ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Arlington National Cemetery, Trump\u2019s MAGA \u201cVictory Rally\u201d at Capital One Arena in Washington, and a candlelight dinner.<\/p>\n<p><b>Monday, Jan. 20<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Inauguration Day will start with a service at St. John\u2019s church, followed by tea at the White House.<\/p>\n<p>Trump and Vice President-elect JD Vance are scheduled to be sworn in at noon, followed by the official farewell for President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris.<\/p>\n<p>Trump will then head to the President\u2019s Room near the Senate chamber, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.inaugural.senate.gov\/signing-ceremony\/\" target=\"_blank\">where it\u2019s tradition to sign nominations<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Following the signing room ceremony, there\u2019s a luncheon hosted by the Joint Congressional Committee on Inaugural Ceremonies.
