A person with knowledge of the subpoenas granted anonymity to comment on them said that two were sent to Moreno and his wife, Bridget.<\/p>\n<p>Their daughter, Emily Moreno, was married to Miller, and the two remain embroiled in a nasty legal battle.<\/p>\n<p>Spokespeople for Miller, Emily Moreno and Bernie Moreno did not immediately return requests for comment. TMZ first reported on the subpoenas.<\/p>\n<p>Miller is seeking reelection in a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.politico.com\/live-updates\/2026\/08\/05\/congress\/brian-poindexter-interview-max-miller-01025723\" target=\"_blank\">competitive district<\/a>, and his campaign <a href=\"https:\/\/www.politico.com\/news\/2026\/08\/19\/max-miller-insists-he-can-win-again-but-warns-in-court-filings-hes-bleeding-union-support-and-cash-01041212\" target=\"_blank\">has been marred<\/a> by accusations of domestic abuse against Emily Moreno and their daughter. Miller has repeatedly denied the allegations and chose to remain in the race despite <a href=\"https:\/\/www.politico.com\/news\/2026\/08\/03\/max-miller-senate-gop-quit-01023309\" target=\"_blank\">other Republican lawmakers pressuring<\/a> him to withdraw his campaign.<\/p>\n<p>The House Ethics Committee, which began an inquiry into Miller after <a href=\"https:\/\/www.politico.com\/live-updates\/2026\/08\/04\/congress\/max-miller-ethics-investigation-01023666\" target=\"_blank\">Miller asked to be investigated<\/a>, is currently in a preelection blackout period.
