Trump did not commit to throwing his political weight behind her effort after Cruz said it did not have enough support to clear the chamber.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, Sen. <a href=\"https:\/\/directory.politicopro.com\/member\/25648\" data-person-id=\"25648\">Andy Kim<\/a> (D-N.J.) <a href=\"https:\/\/subscriber.politicopro.com\/article\/2026\/07\/4-senators-introduce-child-online-safety-age-verification-bill-01010664\" target=\"_blank\">introduced the Digital Age Assurance Act<\/a> on Thursday.
