But he said Wednesday that he secured several changes to the new text \u2014 including the inclusion of language \u201ccreating fiduciary responsibility for participants in the crypto industry\u201d and an unrelated housing bill he co-leads called the Build Now Act.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s time to urinate or get off the pot,\u201d Kennedy said.<\/p>\n<p>Kennedy will still be a key figure to watch at the markup: He said Wednesday he plans to \u201cconsider all the amendments\u201d that are brought up, leaving the door open to supporting what could be controversial changes to the legislation.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Sen.
