The three spoke by phone Tuesday night about her threats, according to two people granted anonymity to describe the private call. <\/p>\n<p>Stefanik said in a <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/elisestefanik\/status\/1996184177335480682?s=46\" target=\"_blank\">Wednesday norning X post<\/a> that \u201cafter a productive discussion\u201d with Trump and Johnson last night, \u201cthe provision requiring Congressional disclosure when the FBI opens counterintelligence investigations into presidential and federal candidates seeking office will be included\u201d as part of an agreement to pass the Pentagon bill. <\/p>\n<p>A floor vote on the package is expected next week. A spokesperson for Johnson declined to weigh in on the private conversations.<\/p>\n<p>Stefanik, a member of Johnson\u2019s leadership team, accused the speaker Tuesday of personally excluding her measure from the defense bill and lying about it.
