The purchase figures were released by the U.S. Department of Agriculture.<\/p>\n<p>Trump said Tuesday that China was &ldquo;pretty much on schedule&rdquo; in buying U.S. farm products but also told Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent to call Beijing and &ldquo;speed it up.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>The purchases since late October have broken China&rsquo;s boycott of U.S. soybeans, which were hurting farmers.
