Hegseth calls Ukraine’s return to old borders ‘unrealistic’
The National Defense Authorization Act also would repeal a pair of decades-old war authorizations and proposes an $8 billion boost to Trump’s defense budget.
The Defense secretary, speaking at the Reagan Defense Forum, outlined defense priorities that focus on the Western Hemisphere and reevaluate the U.S. relationship with Europe.
The Pentagon inspector general investigated whether Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth violated the agency’s standards for sharing classified information and put troops in danger.
